However, the A/C machines were noisy. The service was amazing and welcoming, especially under the care of the concierge. The location was good, being central yet not noisy, within walking distance of many key areas in Lisbon. The dining experience was delicious and varied, with exceptional quality and choices. Facilities were up to standard with diverse options available.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The walk to the center of Lisbon was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was a nice touch. I appreciated the coffee maker and hot water pot for tea, as well as the cozy robe and slippers laid out at night. The room with large windows and elegant decor stood out over the interior room I used before, boasting great linen and towels.
Arriving early, we managed to check in at around 2 pm. Though the room wasn't serviced all day by Viking, the executive room provided a comfortable stay. The staff smiled a lot, were incredibly pleasant, and were willing to help with anything we asked. However, the location, while convenient in the center of Lisbon and near many attractions, could be seen as slightly unsafe at night on Avenida da Liberdade.
The hotel is located perfectly, just a short walk from the metro and not far from the heart of the old town. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and offer a turndown service, making the stay extra special. The staff went above and beyond to help with restaurant bookings, though they could have been more informative about local events affecting transportation. Overall, a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
